Although these components were in good working order, their licensing and validation protocols required the equipment to be replaced at regularly scheduled intervals.

Solution:

In an effort to reduce costs, Industrial Motion introduced our Repair and Calibration Program. Through this program, our team arranged for all the return logistics, customs clearance and re-importation of the client’s original equipment. Now, once the product arrives at the OEM’s facility, it is evaluated and an estimate is generated to return the equipment to new condition.

The Repair and Calibration Program returns all components to their original factory specifications. Then a full manufacturer’s warranty is placed on the equipment, which is identical to the warranty that accompanied it when first purchased.

Result:

Through this repair program, Industrial Motion was able to save the client 70% for the products that they returned for repair over purchasing new. As a result, the company expanded the use of our Repair and Calibration Program to several of their facilities worldwide and the impact of the cost savings has been significant.
